Trip Summary
Day 1
Padang - Bukittinggi
We will start our journey from Padang city to Bukittinggi
city, on the way to Bukittinggi we will pass through dense jungle view of
Malalak which is famous with local production of Cinnamon. Arrival in
Bukittinggi visiting famous canyon of Sianok Bukittinggi, and night in
Bukittinggi.
Day 2
Bukittinggi - Maninjau lake and traditional village
After breakfast visiting Maninjau lake and traditional
Minangkabau village, join activity with local people in Maninjau village, enjoy
jungle scenary all around the village with terrace ricefield, and continue
visiting traditional village and fisherman village in Maninjau.
After visit in Maninjau back to Bukittinggi and Night in Bukittinggi
Day 3 Bukittinggi - Harau valley
During our stay in
Bukittinggi we will visit traditional market in the morning and Rafflessia
flower ( the biggest flower in the world, we will keep update for blooming season)
and Bukittinggi city tour. Night in Bukittinggi
Day 4 Bukittinggi - Harau valley
Embark to Harau valley in the morning, on arrival In Harau valley check in at our Eco bungalow and visit the countryside, ricefield, and local village. Night in Harau valley.
Day 5 Harau
valley trekking & 1000 caves
In the morning visiting local village and we will
explore Harau valley jungle, 1000 caves and hidden waterfalls, in the end of
the day we will visit local production of palm sugar making. Night in Harau
valley
Day 6 Harau
Valley - Padang - Sungai Pinang village
Transfer from Harau Valley to Padang city, on the way
back to Padang city, we will visit Minangkabau king is palace, Cow races even (
Pacu Jawi ) and Traditional Minangkabau village Pariangan with view point.
Arrival in Padang city, we will transfer to a small
village located in the between jungle and seaside with breathtaking view,
arrival at our Guesthouse check in and enjoy the moment, swimming in the river,
relax and paddling
Day 7 Sungai
Pinang village - Island hopping
After breakfast, trekking to the waterfall to and have
lunch, back to our guesthouse and get a speedboat and continue the trip all the
way to Padang is Island with white sand beach and lush vegetation of the jungle. Arrival
on the island, enjoy the moment, snorkeling, swimming. Night in a nice beach
bungalow with sea front.
Day 8 Beach
stay and -Island hopping
In the morning visiting several island around, Marak
Island, Conservation turtle and Pagang Island, back to our Ecolodge.
Day 9 Beach
stay - Swimming and Snorkeling
At this day you will enjoy all full day on the beach
with some activities such Swimming, Snorkeling, paddling
Day 10 Back
to Padang or Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Bungus bay and back to Padang city or to the airport based on your schedule for next destination. Tour End

Things to carry
- Small
backpack (we can leave some stuff at the previous place we stayed in
(hotel/hostel)
- Long
trousers, long sleeves, t-shirt, fresh underwear (there will be sweating going
on)
- Rain
clothes / ponco
- We
recommend bringing a dry bag/pocket (waterproof) to protect your camera and any
other important documents and equipment you need to take care of.
- Trekking
shoes, sleeping bag, a mosquito repellent, high protection sunscreen, a
headlamp, toilet paper, a sun hat/cap, sunglasses, water bottle
- First
aid such as paracetamol, pain killers, anti-diarrhoea, disinfectant, and all
other medication you would usually take.
